| This painting was based on an article where the author believed the ancient Mexicans had been taught to build pyramids by travellers from Egypt. The writer failed to account for the 3,000 years between the time the Egyptians stopped building pyramids and the Mesoamericans began. The construction methods also had nothing in common. |
